It’s been awhile since i participated, but i was inspired by this challenge today, over at Mama Kat’s, so here I am… 3.) Create a bucket list of 50 things you want to do this summer (with or without the kids!)
- Sink my toes where the sand and sea kiss.
- Spend an afternoon feeding ducks and geese.
- Take my nieces and nephews to the water park.
- Drink sun tea by the gallons.
- Drink fresh squeezed lemonade as often as possible.
- Peach picking.
- Fresh Peach canning.
- Fresh, crisp salads for lunches and dinners.
- Nighttime park movies, under the stars.
- Sleeping in a tent.
- Sunday afternoon picnics.
- Dining Al’ Fresco.
- Campfire warmth, shadows and sounds.
- Campfire smores.
- Explore the woods.
- Smell chlorine. a lot.
- Lay and reading on a beach towel.
- Lay and read on the cool grass of the park, beneath the weeping willow tree.
- Tiger’s blood snow cones.
- The drive- in theater.
- Talking beneath the stars.
- Bike rides.
- River floating.
- Sunscreen.
- Twinkle lit evenings on the patio.
- Barbecues with friends.
- Tennis.
- Glasses of wine as the almost-midnight-sun sets.
- Sprinkler rainbows, within reach in my yard.
- Farmer’s market Saturday mornings.
- Summer concerts.
- The sound of joyful screams and coasters swirling about, around me.
- Family frozen yogurt runs.
- Fresh berries adorning cakes, pancakes, muffins, salads and sticky tiny child-hands.
- Popsicle smiles.
- Summer photos.
- Shimmery, lime scented lotion.
- California sunsets.
- Time with our amazing Oregon friends.
- Smoothies.
- Fresh cut flowers vased on table tops and nightstands.
- Flip flops revealing painted toe nails.
- Strawberry, yogurt and granola breakfast sundaes.
- Sidewalk chalk artist in residence and her creations.
- Relaxed afternoons.
- Watermelon, crisp and icy.
- Cool inspiring mornings to write or read by.
- Fajita and Margarita Fridays.
- Grilled summer flatbread pizzas.
