


We asked the Collective community what practices they used for self-care/self-love. This is where they are. As listeners continue to share new ideas, they will be added to this growing list…
- take a moment, pause
- post-it note affirmations, where you’ll see/need them most
- reflecting on something you’re grateful for as soon as you wake
- practice being grateful as you’re trying to fall asleep
- yoga (it doesn’t matter if you go to a studio, follow from a book or use youtube.)
- later feet in lotion and put on cozy socks
- a nice cup of tea
- watching your favorite, feel-good movie
- a nap
- paint your toe nails
- take a community ed class or learn something new, that interests you
- pause and practice good posture. Take intentional breaths, breathing out the stress. Add in some light stretching.
- get a facial
- take 20 minutes, to yourself, at home. wash your face slow and lovingly and use an at-home-mask
- start reading a new book, or cozy into your favorite spot with an old favorite.
- video chat a friend
- take a nice bath
- find essential oils which relax and nurture you
- sit in the sun, eyes closed, and practice be-ing.
- write a letter or card, to a loved one who is far away.
- garden
- self hand/neck massage
- go see a movie, retreating for a couple of hours
- crocheting/knitting
- doing something artistic and creative with your hands
- funny web videos
- buy yourself flowers
- rearrange/redecorate a room
- journal
- pray
- list out things which you are grateful for
- Ritualistically/intentionally squeeze lemons, measure sugar and make lemonade.
- adult coloring books
- visit the aquarium
- go for a walk/run
