Kissing your toes, pleading for forgiveness…

The saddest thing of all bloggy things, which could have possibly happened, has happened- to me.

Let me explain.
I have a deep and passionate relationship with Google Reader. He isn’t perfect, but where true love and commitment are concerned, it’s for better or worse, right?
Well, GR and I have a system. He shows me whose posted, I click on the post and then head back to him for his next suggestion. In essence, I have about 25 tabs open at a time. It works really well, because then, as I close each tab upon reading, the next one is there waiting.

Until, the power goes out. (apparently there was a power line on fire somewhere. Likely story Idaho Power…)
So, I deeply apologize. I just got my computer back up after hours and hours of being down due to Idaho Power’s completely lame excuse… I had to head over here first as, a commitment is a commitment. (You should read it. It’s a true story… Then you should come back…)

Some things, (like bloggy mass confusion) power fruits just can’t help…
Sadness…
So, all of that to say- I’m sorry. I don’t know who I read, or who I didn’t. Something about the ensuing panic ridden moments which followed seams to have erased what I read. I am wiping my reader out and starting anew, as it is noon and I’ve accomplished nothing. (Thank you Idaho Power for your successful attempt at blog sabatoging, because we all know that’s what it was…) If I missed the greatest post of your blogging career, just tell me. I can take it…

Like The Outsiders, only different…

While three day weekends are traditionally full of mini-trips, camping, cookouts or lounging around- we chose to cram as much productivity into our three days as possible. There was lawn care, baking, construction, car repair (Halleluiah! I have a car again!), gift making, computer programing, room rearranging, ripstick riding (no, not by me.) and a pluthera of bicycle injuries to be had… (again, not by me. Ripsticking were LT and Chw. Bike injuries would be the illustrious miss Genny.)

Of course, amidst the cheesecake eating and productive craziness, there was a time out for a mini photo shoot. It was all in fun, as the boys tried (and failed) to race each other on the rails… Only one injury, which is good, considering there was climbing upon the train, pull ups, attempts to push the train (I kid you not) and smile for the camera…

One day, the people I love will tire of me shouting out the car window: Stop here, this would make an awesome background for photos!
Thankfully, that day was NOT yesterday…

And the winner of my give away is Birdie of Scenes from the Crooked Maple… Please go by and check out her blog and congratulate her! Also remember to keep Gifts of Joy bookmarked! Beautiful Jewelry- great cause! Doesn’t get much better than that!

My Cinco De Mayo Siesta…

I am taking a break…

It’s not you, it’s me.
I imagine myself returning to you all, sunned and well rested. I see myself vacationing near the bahamas… Happy…
In truth, these things will not happen… And I likely will come crawling back in a few days because I deeply love my blog- that much. :)
I am just stressed… Aside from my sister and her self induced insanity- We have some major family stuff going on right now and I am incredibly overwhelmed.
Oh wait. Crud… Tomorrow is my hubby’s birthday. Well, I will run away AFTER that…
Anyway, while I am crying in the shower, crying over YOUR blog posts, throwing things at photos of my sister & banging my sewing machine (which apparently does not work) with a hammer- please imagine me somewhere tropical and relaxing…
