If you aren’t familiar with the film Dolphin Tale, it is a beautifully crafted movie specifically about a young dolphin named Winter, whose tail is compromised in a freak accident and has to be removed. Throughout the journey, and against odds, Winter is given a prosthetic tail thus greatly increasing her quality of life and her odds of survival.
Not so specifically it is a story about attachment. It is a story about bonds. It is a story about love, and life, and will. It is not about inspiration- everything about it is simply inspiring…

My daughter really wanted to see this movie as well. We got all dressed up went to the theater, to arrive and find out they just showed the last show time an hour before we arrived, thus leaving us to wait for the movie to come out on video. She was so disappointed. I tried to take her out to dinner to make up for it, but it was just a bummer.
Being the dolphin lover I am, of course I saw this movie! I had followed the news story all along as well. Of course I was a little picky about the inaccuracies in the movie (no one else would really notice) the story is one for all ages to enjoy, with or without kids :)
We just watched this movie in the theater on Tuesday (cheapy seats)for my Hubby's b-day. Good flick! :)
